  1. How can I most easily deposit money into my Ya Poker account?
    We provide a number of secure deposit methods. Our customer service team can help you determine which is best for you?
  2. Do I need to provide my credit card details?
    No. Making a deposit via credit card is one method, but there are others.
  3. Will you share my information with any third party?
    At Ya Poker, keeping our players’ information private is a huge priority. We do not share any data with third parties.
  4. What can I do to keep my Ya Poker account secure?
    The best way to keep your account secure is to not share your login information or password with anyone. Make sure you close the online poker client once you have finished playing. We advise that you change your password on a regular basis.
  5. Why can’t my friend play from the same IP?
    We do not allow multiple accounts to play from the same address so as to avoid collusion. This maintains the integrity of the games at Ya Poker.
  6. What games does Ya Poker provide?
    We provide a variety of games, from tournaments to ring games. We offer Texas Hold’em, Omaha, Omaha Hi/Lo, 7 Card Stud, 7 Card Stud Hi/Lo, and 32 Card Draw.
  7. What kind of operating system do I need to play on Ya Poker?
    We support all standard versions of Microsoft Windows from Windows 7 onwards. We do not currently support Mac
  8. How much available memory do I need?
    You’ll need 30MB of space on your hard drive for the online poker client download and installation. We also recommend a minimum of 512 MB Ram and 1GHz CPU.
  9. What color settings can be supported?
    You’ll need your computer to be set to “High Color (16 bit)” or higher. This is because we use high-resolution graphics.
  10. What is the minimum screen resolution setting I can use?
    You will need a system that supports 800×600 graphics settings, although for a more robust experience we recommend a screen setting of 1024×768 or higher.
  11. How can I re-size the tables?
    You can re-size the tables by clicking and dragging the table from any of its edges. Release the mouse button once you’ve found your desired table size.
  12. How can I straddle?
    To straddle simply select the Straddle box on the bottom right hand of your screen. This should be done once seated at the table.
  13. Can I chat with other players?
    You can chat with players at any table. To chat at a table place your mouse cursor in the Chat box, type your text and click “Enter.”
  14. How do I see table chat?
    Table chat is available at the lower left corner of the table.
  15. What happens to my hand and my money if I lose connection with the Ya Poker client?
    Before you play, make sure you are working with a strong Internet connection. Ya Poker is not liable for funds lost due to a bad connection.
  16. Once I’ve been disconnected, how long do I have to reconnect and get back in the hand?
    If you reconnect within 35 seconds, you will be able to act on your hand. In fixed-limit cash games, if you do not re-connect before your time bank expires, your hand will be treated as if you went all in.
  17. What happens if Ya Poker has a service interruption?
    We go to incredible lengths to prevent a service interruption, however, it is impossible to guarantee 100% uninterrupted service. All player account information reverts back to the end of the last completed hand in the unlikely event of a server crash.
    As for tournaments, if the issue is resolved in less than 30 minutes, the tournament is resumed normally. If the software has a technical issue that lasts longer than 30 minutes, the tournament is cancelled.
  18. How do I use the tournament filter?
    Ya Poker’s tournament lobby is located directly above the tournament list. You’ll find the filters there. Once a filter is highlighted, it will display the information only for the highlighted item.
  19. How do I use the cash game filter?
    The cash game filter is located directly above “Games” in the main lobby. Filters include stake size and limit type.
  20. What is a time-based tourney?
    These are tournaments played for a set period of time. These are different from freeze-out tournaments, which are played until someone has all the chips. In a time-based tournament, winners and prize money are dependent upon chip count at the time the clock expires. First place goes to the player with the most chips and the rest of the prize pool is distributed based upon chip count in descending order.
  21. What is a Geo-Target tournament?
    Geo-targeted tournaments are country or region specific, allowing players only from that region or country to play.
  22. How can I check my statistics?
    Once seated, you can view your statistics for your current session. Click on the “graph” tab on the far left located directly above the chat box to see how you’re doing in the session.
