What is the difference between Benefit Points and Player Points?
Benefit Points determine your Level in our loyalty program. Player Points are earned alongside Benefit Points. The number of Player Points you will earn each month depends on your Level. Player Points are spendable currency.
How to earn Benefit Points:
Just play at Ya Poker’s real-money tables. Playing in cash games and tournaments will earn you Benefit Points. Best of all, we use the Weighted Contributed Rake method to calculate your Benefit Points.
In Ya Poker tournaments, you will earn 5.5 Benefit Points for each $1 USD paid in tournament fees. For example, let’s say you are playing an online poker tournament that costs $10+1 to get into. $10 goes to the prize pool and $1 is the entry fee. The $10 in the tournament does not count for calculating your Benefit Points. For tournaments, we only look at the fee associated with the buy-in. In this example, that is $1, and as you are awarded 5.5 BPs for every $1 in fees paid, you will earn 5.5 BPs.
What if the buy-in is less than $1? Don’t worry. You will earn fractional BPs, too. For example, in a real-money SnG with a $5+0.50 buy-in, you will earn 2.75 BPs (5.5 / 2).
In Ya Poker cash games, you will earn Benefit Points at a rate of 5.5 BPs for each $1 you contribute to the rake.
Please note that in all ring games, Benefit Points will be credited at the end of a hand. That means if you leave a table before the hand is completed, you risk forfeiting the BPs for that hand. To make sure you are paid the BPs you deserve, click “Sit Out”, and wait until the start of the next hand before leaving the table.
How many Player Points will I earn for each Benefit Point?
That depends on your Level in the program. You can earn up to 5 Player Points for every Benefit Point you earn. The chart below explains everything:
Monthly Player Levels:
|Level||Monthly BPs Required||PPs per BP|
Yearly Player Levels:
|VIP Level||Yearly BPs Required||PPs per BP|
The best part about earning Player Points is that we use the Weighted Contributed Rake method to calculate your Player Points so that improving your Level is easy.

Player Points Expire Only Should You Let Them
Provided that you earn at least one player point in a calendar year your player points will never expire. It’s as simple as logging in one day and playing one hand a ring game or one tournament. Do this, and your player points will always be yours. Should you fail to earn one player point in a calendar year your points will be set to expire on December 31st of that year.
