Elite Benefits Earnings
What is the difference between Rank Points and Combat Points?
Rank Points determine your position in our Elite Benefits Program.
Combat Points are earned alongside Rank Points. The number of Combat Points you will earn each month depends on your rank. Combat Points are a spendable currency.
To view your Rank, launch the Ya Poker client, log in, click on the âRewardsâ menu, and then choose âElite Benefitsâ. You will be able to see your current rank, available rewards, and more.
How to earn points playing Ya Poker tournaments
For every $1 USD you pay in tournament fees, youâll earn 5.5 Rank Points.
For example, letâs say you are playing an online poker tournament that costs $10+1 to get into. $10 goes to the prize pool and $1 is the entry fee. The $10 in the tournament is irrelevant in calculating Rank Points. For tournaments, we only consider the fee associated with the buy-in. In this case, thatâs $1. And since you are awarded 5.5 Rank Points for every $1 in fees paid, you will earn 5.5 Rank Points.
Donât worry if the tournament buy-in is under $1. Youâll still earn fractional Rank Points.
For example, in a $5+0.50 buy-in tournament, you would earn 2.75 Rank Points. To arrive at this number, we simply divided the 5.5 Rank Points per $1 in half since 5.5 / 2 = 2.75.
How to earn points playing Ya Poker cash games
When you play cash games, you will automatically earn Rank Points for the rake taken from each hand. Whatâs even better is Ya Poker calculates your points using a weighted contributed method. In other words, youâll earn more points based on your contribution to the pot.
Youâll earn Rank Points at a rate of 5.5 Rank Points for each $1 you contribute to the rake.
Kindly note that for all ring games, Rank Points will be credited at the end of a hand. So make sure you donât leave the table before the end of the hand or you run the risk of forfeiting the Rank Points you would have earned for that hand. Itâs a good idea to click âSit Outâ and remain at the table until the next hand starts if you want to earn your Rank Points.
How many Combat Points can I expect to earn per Rank Point?
Your earning potential depends on your rank in the Elite Benefits Program. Youâll earn anywhere between 1 and 5 Combat Points per Rank Point. Check out this chart to see how many points you can rack up.
MONTHLY RANKS | ||
---|---|---|
Rank | Monthly RPs Required | CPs per RP |
Bronze | None | 1 |
Silver | 750 | 1.5 |
Gold | 3,000 | 2 |
Platinum | 7,500 | 2.5 |
YEARLY RANKS | ||
---|---|---|
VIP Level | Yearly RPs Required | CPs per RP |
Diamond | 100,000 | 3.5 |
Black Diamond | 1,000,000 | 5 |
To help you make sense of the chart above, check out these examples:
A Bronze player plays in a raked hand and earns 1 Rank Point. They will also earn 1 Combat Point. A Gold player playing in the same game will also collect 1 Rank Point. As we mentioned, your earning power increases with each rank, so instead of earning 1 Combat Point, the Gold player will earn 2 Combat Points. That is because for each Rank Point a Gold player earns, they will receive two Combat Points. In this example, 1 x 2 = 2.
How do Rank Points work in tournaments? In tournaments, you will earn 5.5 Rank Points for every $1 in fees paid. So, a Platinum player who plays in a $50+5 tournament will earn 27.5 Rank Points ($5 in tournament fees multiplied by 5.5; 5Ă5.5 = 27.5). Since a Platinum player gets 2.5 Combat Points per Rank Point, they will earn 68.75 Combat Points, while a Bronze player will receive 27.5 Combat Points for the same tournament.
